Kelly Boone, LMFT Owner of Boone Family Therapy

Kelly Boone, LMFT

Kelly Boone is a 2016 graduate of the Appalachian State Marriage & Family Therapy master's degree program. She has lived in the mountains of NC since 2001, and when not at work she is usually with her husband and son, tending to their old home forever in need of renovations, or enjoying the beautiful outdoor spaces of the High Country. Kelly opened Boone Family Therapy immediately upon graduation and has been serving the community of the High Country ever since. She is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the state of North Carolina and a professional EMDR practitioner, certified through the EMDR International Association.

As a therapist, Kelly is dedicated to creating a safe space for all of her clients to explore themselves and their lives. She strives to combine her clinical knowledge and experience with her clients’ wisdom and perspective to facilitate effective change.  She recognizes the courage needed to reach out for help and offers her deep respect to her clients in their efforts to confront the challenges of their lives.
